A short time to go, in Newport Beach (well, that's far away for me)...
Yes, it's that time again... time for me to revisit my childhood, embrace my inner geek, and camp out for the next Star Wars movie.

Yes, I know what your saying "Episode I and II sucked! Why would you want to camp out for Episode III?", but then you don't understand the true meaning for camping. It's not about the movie (OK, well it is about the movie, otherwise why would we be there), it's about the time spent surrounded by friends and strangers, everyone different but tied by a common thread.

As for the movie, to be honest I can't wait to see it now, but I didn't feel that way a few months ago. Until recent reviews came out (especially the one by Kevin Smith, click here to read it) I wasn't as excited about the movie as I was about being back in line again. Now, I have to say that I can't wait to see the movie, but at the same time I don't want the campout to end. We're coming to the end of an era here, and I have to say I'm sad to see it come. This is something that I don't think we will ever see the likes of again. I would go on, but a post on the Yorba Linda Star Wars Cantina Blog says it better than I ever could.... just read Day 9.

Well, I will post again once I have seen the movie, and let you all know my feelings on the film itself.... until then may the force be with you
