Matterhorn, DisneylandIt's been a while since I've posted to this site, and I'm starting to feel that Kestryl.com has been neglected.  In the past week or so I've done some backend upgrades to the site, but no new content.  So I figured that it was time to post some new articles.  Plus now I can put emoticons on the site....  Cool huh?  I don't have any great new pictures of the family, so instead, enjoy this picture of the Matterhorn as viewed from Fantasyland.

OK, now that I'm done playing, I guess I should let you all know what the family as been up to.  Probably the biggest change in the Reelfs Family's life lately is church.  Starting back in May of this year, Julie and I started going to church at All Saint's Church in Santa Clarita.  Since then we've become very involved in the Church.  Julie is singing in the choir, and I have been helping out running the sound system.  Just this last weekend, I assisted by serving in a wedding.  It is a small church, with the most amazing people I have ever met.  I personally invite any and all of my family and friends to come and visit us any Sunday morning... I'm there pretty much every weekend.  For directions on how to get there, click here.

Another soon to be major change in our life, is that Julie's Mother, Step-Father, and Grandmother are moving to Denver, Colorado.  Her Mother has been offered a wonderful job out there with her company's home office, and it's just an opportunity that they cannot pass up.  They have worked so hard here in California for so many years, that it is time they got out of our crazy real estate market and reaped the rewards in a much bigger house there for half the cost. As sad as it is to see them go, we try and look on the bright side of things.... We really enjoyed our trip last year to Colorado and are looking forward to many future visits. With Julie at home with the kids, she is looking forward to taking the kids there over the summer to go fishing and horseback riding, not to mention a possible future White Christmas or two.

Other than that, our life has been pretty much normal... well as 'normal' as it usually is.  Julie still cleans the house and has been blogging in her spare time. Kyle is enjoying Kindergarten, Blake is having fun in Mommy & Me class & gymnastics, and I'm still working over at JPL.  With the holidays coming up I hope to have more pictures to post and interesting stories to tell you about the family.  Until then, enjoy!
