Family in Amish Country, PAWe have had a very busy summer this year unintentionally. Originally we had planned a family vacation and a trip back to California for two weddings and also to celebrate our tenth wedding anniversary at Disneyland.  At the last minute Kevin had to go to California on business, so we tagged along and got to see his parents while he worked. So we have had one trip after another with less than a week break in between and I'll be leaving to go to Denver in two days.

Check out the Photo Album for our 2007 Vacation for some great shots, and also look at our Trips album for photos from the May weddings and the trip to Disneyland.

Kevin's dear friend Cristina had a lovely wedding in Pasadena that we went to. We got to visit with friends from his work at Lockheed in Pasadena at the wedding and at his work. Their wedding was unbelievably gorgeous, just take a look at the pictures in the photo album.

While there we also went to an old high school friend's wedding in Long Beach and Kevin got to reminisce with friends and see him get married. I really don't miss the three hour long California traffic to get to Long Beach.

We also went to California and took the boys to visit with his Uncles and Grandparents. They got to go to the LA Zoo and the Griffith Observatory and we got some great pictures.

After returning from driving to and from LA in a car with two kids, we packed up and went on our family vacation. We went up the Blue Ridge Parkway to see the mountains and the animals and nature in the East. We also went to Colonial Williamsburg and Busch Gardens, then to New York City, Amish country Pennsylvania, Hershey, and then Myrtle Beach for fireworks and beach camping.

Take a look at the photo album under Vacations and Trips. I'll be adding in Blake's 4th birthday and the family photos as soon as possible. Happy traveling to you, hope you get to spend more time at home this summer than I did!
